Reasons You Should Be Excited About The New Beginning

We are in that time of the year where resolutions have been penned down or are about to be written down.

The birds are singing new songs, the cloud is beaming brightness, the air with its excitement embracing everyone. IT IS A NEW YEAR, the rebirth of hope and assurance.

An opportunity to start afresh.

An opportunity to love again.

An opportunity to let go and forgive.

An opportunity to break the chains of guilt.

An opportunity for self-discovery.

An opportunity to relaunch.

An opportunity to refrain from negative influences.

An opportunity to embrace positivity and purpose-driven people.

An opportunity to sow good seeds into yourself and others.

An opportunity to build worthy relationships.

An opportunity to invest in your life and others.

An opportunity to heal and be healed.

An opportunity to shine forth.

An opportunity to be more compassionate and build emotional intelligence.

An opportunity to show mercy and attract mercy to yourself.

An opportunity to restrategize for the execution of your plans.

An opportunity to make praise your lifestyle and your weapon.

An opportunity to learn, unlearn and relearn.

An opportunity to pray and stop being a prey.

An opportunity to start and continue with God.

An opportunity to work for and walk with God.

Many people pray and also feel the need for a new beginning sometime in their life because they see it as an opportunity to reclaim something good or start something good. Sometimes, without expecting, a new beginning greets them. It can be something good or something bad.

As we expect and pray for only good things we must know that life is filled with challenges because the devil never gives up on his attack. So it is important to prepare ourselves by wearing our armour of war at all times, allowing the Holy Spirit to lead always and clinging unto God and His Word. The journey will be tough if we loss sight of trusting and believing in God because our God is all knowing. “And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the works of thine hands.” Hebrews 1:10

He knows the new year/beginning better than anyone including us. So trusting Him who knows the past and holds the present and future makes our new beginning worth living, thriving, exciting, and blessed.

As you trust and lean on Him, He will make you count Your blessings and never losses.
