Lord, Give Me My Circle should be a daily prayer of every intentional and purpose-driven woman.
and,
Lord, Keep My Circle should be the constant prayer of every woman living purposefully.
I have read and heard people say that this generation is unfortunate because it seems to have lost every sense of decency, character, virtue, and godliness.
However, because I am a part of this generation termed unfortunate, I don’t only disagree, but with every ounce in me, I say that that conclusion is a lie from the pit of hell.
This generation is not only fortunate but blessed beyond human comprehension, the presence of the Holy Spirit in us and with us is the major advantage that we have in our time.
We are a generation blessed to have heard and read about great men and women. Some were even opportuned to see some of these great people, we are also a generation blessed with abounding knowledge.
When you are still in the dark or surrounded by people whose presence in your life leaves you the same or worse than when they first met you, it depicts that you have the wrong circle. Your circle should help you grow and not slow your growth. In your growth, you should keep moving.
Every month or twice a week, you should assess yourself. Assessing one’s self regularly without the aim of comparison keeps you on track to growth.
There are women in this generation who are gravely graced with wisdom, honoured with favour, dignified with integrity, decorated with strength and beautified with God. Such women should not only be admired, but one should find a way of being in their circle or bringing them to your circle.
By Circle, I mean people who understand you, trust you, share your beliefs and values, and are ready and willing to push you to grow in areas of life and encourage your relationship with God.
Your circle may include your family, friends, colleagues, etc.
Our circle can improve our relationship with God, lifestyle, success achievement, health, and also relationships with fellow men.
Tamar had the wrong circle and was in the wrong circle.
King Saul had the wrong circle and was in the wrong circle.
Amnon the son of David, had the wrong circle and was in the wrong circle.
Queen Esther had the right circle and was in the right circle.
Timothy had the right circle and was in the right circle.
Daniel, Shedrack, Meshack, and Abednego were a good circle to themselves.
Your circle must not be a crowd of people. It can be a few people.
As we journey through life, we will always need the supportive circle we have built overtime.
As you desire and pray to have a formidable circle, also pray and be intentional in living the life of someone whom others would desire to have in their circle.
Wow, what’s a great article.
I was richly blessed from this and I prayed that God will give me a circle that will be a blessing to me and I will be a blessing to those that find me in their circle Amen.
Thank you ????
At every stage of my life, I have made this prayer and God has never failed me. A person’s circle does matter.
“This generation is not only fortunate but blessed beyond human comprehension, the presence of the Holy Spirit in us and with us is the major advantage that we have in our time”
So true. Thank you for this
