Can God Trust Me?

Trust is a cardinal ingredient in any relationship and it must be mutual. Trust that is one sided can not progress a relationship.
Trust is simply firm belief in the reliability or ability of someone or something.
Trust means being able to predict what other people will do in situations that arise.

Have you been betrayed before?
How did you feel?
Why did you feel how you felt?
I can tell you. It is simply because the trust you have for that person was broken.

Do you know what? God feels the same way when you break the trust He has for you.
Funny enough God knows the end from the beginning and knows who He should entrust some certain things with.

You remember Abraham? God said about Abraham and I quote “For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgement; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which He hath spoken of him.” Genesis 18:19 KJV

Abraham did exactly what the Lord expected of him and God also never broke His part of trust towards Abraham.

Many times we disappoint God through our words, actions, thoughts and lifestyle. And when we trust Him for something and we are disappointed, we accuse God of not being faithful, considerate or thoughtful towards us.

Recently, I was having a discussion with a man who’s having marital issues, he said to me and I quote “I still love my wife but I can never trust her.” I muttered to myself ‘how can their marriage work without trust’.

Loving God is not enough but trusting God and God being able to trust you on any matter makes the difference.

You desire a particular workplace, house, position/status, change of environment, wealth etc
Can God trust you to still be loyal to Him when gives you all you’re asking of Him?

I leave you with a question to self;
Can God trust me?
Where have I betrayed the trust God had for me?

The much you have received from God, what are you doing with them?
Does God feel glad or betrayed?

Our next will be;
How can you regain God’s trust?
