Hello Dearie, are you frustrated because your candle is not burning? The reason is you have failed to ignite the flame. Everyone has a candle inbuilt but the burning of the flame depends on you.
Sometimes you compare yourself with another because you look at her candle burning so bright. You may forget you even have a candle that needs to be lighted. You look down on your candle because it’s small, slim, short, fat etc
Once your candle is lighted, you don’t stay at one position but move around. The dark, hopeless and confused people need you.
You are lighted to light others. But you may never know you have a candle let alone how to go about lighting your world if you neglect the He that can cause the flame.
The Holy Spirit is so important in this life that you cannot do without Him.
Through the Holy Spirit, you are comforted, you learn all things and remember all things. John 14:26
You don’t know where to go, what to do, can’t teach yourself anything nor even remember all things.
This is not your work but the work of THE HOLY SPIRIT.
Let Him into your life. He knows how to ignite the flames and lead you to the dark, hopeless and confused souls.
If you don’t light your world, the world will light you up with sin.
You are not in a competition with anybody. The goal is having a burning candle that lights your world around you.
Light your world with your smile, care, graceful words, talents and, most importantly, with Jesus Christ.
Prayer: Sweet Holy Spirit, light me up to light my world. And lead me to the dark, hopeless and confused souls.
