Imagine that a person can buy peace. The rich who can afford it will make it rare and expensive for the poor and middle class. They will purchase it and get enough for their unborn children. Will you and I be able to afford it?
But this asset called Peace is still sought by the mighty men with all their wealth.
Peace should make the first five among the things in our list of thanksgiving to God as children of God. I feel there should be a day set aside for thanksgiving of Peace in the Church of God where people bring their offerings and gifts of peace unto the Lord.
Thanking God for peace is underrated.
Peace is an asset that never depreciates because its value is priceless and more expensive than all the world currencies.
What is Peace?
Peace is the absence of fear, hatred, and violence.
Peace is a virtue that should be in everyone who is a believer and follower of Christ. With the presence of Peace in the home, Church, and society, love will flow unhindered. And where love is, the blessings of God rest there.
Peace is so essential that its absence hampers physical and spiritual progress. No individual, family, or even a nation can progress without peace.
Peace is a free gift but with a code, and the code is with the Prince called Prince of Peace. You don’t need a human connection to get this code. Anyone and everyone can access this code.
This code is SALVATION.
Peace isn’t the absence of challenges but the calmness you experience even amid the chaos, knowing that a Being called God Almighty is in charge. Circumstances never affect or change the Peace that God gives.
What disturbs our peace is not challenges but sin, and when forgiveness/mercy is sought from God, He takes away the root of sin in us, and the peace of God takes over.
But He was wounded for our transgressions; He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement [needful to obtain] peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes [that wounded] Him we are healed and made whole.
Isaiah 53:5 APM
But he was wounded for our transgressions; he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and with his stripes, we are healed.
Isaiah 53:5 KJV
The Prince of Peace was humiliated and nailed on the cross of cavalry for us and what led to our peace is the chastisement that was brought upon Him.
The presence of sin and ignorance of God’s truth and love is the absence of Peace.
Are you in need and search of Peace?
Let the Prince of Peace take care of your root of sin.
It is a free gift but can only be given by the Prince of Peace.
