Her mind was running as frantically as her feet as they fled the city, her husband, daughters and her. She could smell the smoke, she could hear the horror-stricken sounds of people in agony as the fire burned without mercy. Her friends and in laws are in that fire, including Lily… oh Lily!!!
Before she knew what she was doing, she swiveled towards Sodom and her life ended.
One swivel was all it took to put an end to her glorious destiny.
That one swivel might be all it takes to end your history. It might be one turn too many.
But let me tell you this, the swivel ends it but it is not the beginning.
It could be a lot of thoughts being accumulated over a period of time.
The last straw broke the back of the camel, but it was other straws that weakened the back of the camel.
There is a reason why the bible asked us to guard our hearts with all diligence because out of it springs the issues of life.
Out of it determines if you are going to swivel towards Sodom and Gomorrah.
It determines how strong you will be to run this race without looking back because at some points, the angels will no longer hold your hands.
At that time;
The thoughts you harbour,
The things you feed your eyes and ears,
The things your mouth have said; are either going to take your hands and lead you to the mountain top or call back at you from Sodom and Gomorrah. They can either preserve your life or turn you into a perfectly preserved pillar of salt.
