Behind the Scene

I love sports. To be precise, I love to watch the athletes test their strength with their opponents by running to see who crosses the finish line first.

Mind you, the opponents are experts and professionals from their local cities coming to the big stage to compete. For example, the Olympics gives ample space for athletics, running for 100m, 200m, relay races, etc. You watch these people get on their mark, waiting for the gunshot, and boom! They go.

Of these contestants, the first person who crosses the finish line is declared the winner, with the second and third as runners-ups. The winners can be seen soaring in victory; those efforts made in the backyard have come to life, and the reward is the gold, silver, or bronze medal, titles, and other privileges.

The endless training, discipline, and monitored eating habits to keep fit and other things all for this very moment. This reminds me of a saying from the world’s fastest man, Usain Bolt, who said, “I trained 4 years to run 9 seconds, and people give up when they don’t see results in 2 months.”

Can you imagine that long process behind the scenes just to get one moment in history never to be forgotten?

This tells me the importance of “Behind The Scenes.”

Before that big meal was presented at the table, there was a process to how it was cooked. It ran through the boiling of meat/fish, preparation of other ingredients, water availability, and fire as the big sum to get the food done.

Hey! dear, take the period of your behind-the-scenes properly, don’t be in a rush to get out there when your meal for the world is not done. Is it an idea? Have you prayed about it? Have you properly processed it in thought? Discussed with like minds and planned effectively before you pushed it to the world?

Or do you just go out there without preparation?

Your behind-the-scenes is a pre-stage that shows the world how delicious your meal is. So, please do not take it for granted. Take your time, and don’t come out till that meal is ready to be dished and fill the world.

While expecting a positive outcome from God, preparation is essential. As the scripture says, “The horse is prepared for the day of battle, but deliverance and victory are of the Lord.” Proverbs 21:31.
