The devil presented the same mindset of pride that was responsible in chasing him out of the abode of God, to be equal to God. And Eve fell for it. That was the beginning of mankind’s problem.
The devil has always been the father of liars. Eve lived in abstinence until the eyes of them both were opened after eating the forbidden fruit and then Adam went into his wife and she conceived and bore a son. Genesis 4:1.
Pray to the Father asking Him to help you to be sensitive and agile in the spirit.
Offence is a sure plug for every human notwithstanding how careful or extra-careful one tries to be. Everyone desires absolute peace within and without. Irrespective of how we strive for peace, there comes a moment when we will be offended.
Self examine yourself and be sincere about it. You will tell better if you’re selfish and where you have exhibited selfishness. Pray for God’s help and be intentional about your daily life and your relationship with people and your spouse.
Most marriages are shattered because of a continuous practice of selfishness and a lot of
young people are unaware of this deadly disease.
Selfishness is rude and deadly. It breeds ingratitude, prioritises oneself, doesn’t accept
mistakes, lack of understanding, taking all decisions by themselves, hurt, disrespect and
resentment.
The appropriate question one should ask themselves and ponder over and over again until the full import of that question has been drastically internalized and processed should be, “What value/virtue are you adding to yourself as a human/woman”?
We are advised not to think or dwell on the past by the Holy Bible; rather, forget it. But one thing we easily ignore is the admonition concerning what we sow in the present.
